Sergio Aguero! FPL managers since last few seasons have always looked up to this Manchester City forward to produce solid FPL point returns. But this FPL season has turned out to be a roller coaster ride for his owners. Negative points twice in this season (GW 4 EVE & GW13 CHE) have already dented FPL Managers faith in him and now that he is banned for next 4games, we are forced to look for a replacement.

While Kane, Costa and Zlatan are the indulgent expenses for any team, we present you a forward who is deadly, accurate and comes at half of the price of Aguero…. Kelechi Iheanacho.

Yes this Nigerian young forward is in sublime form this season for his county and club. Yesterday after scoring against Celtic in Champions League Match Week 6, he has made it clear that he is the man to take the responsibility to be the striker in the team and replace Sergio Aguero for upcoming four games.

Now let me put across his stats, for Manchester City he has scored 13 goals and 5 assists in his last 18 starts. He has contributed either goal or assists in every 58 minutes that he has played for City. According to Official FPL website his Threat Index (323.0) is only inferior to that of Aguero (881.0) and Sterling (521.0).

At his price Divock Origi and Negredo are two probable options but Negredo blanked against Hull City, a side which has conceded 29 goals in 14 games so far thus reducing his appeal. Divock Origi started in Liverpool’s last game against Bournemouth and scored 1 goal but Sturridge is in line for a return from his calf injury and that will risk his selection.

Now look at Manchester City’s next 4 games Leicester (A), Watford (H), Arsenal (H) and Hull City (A). Barring Arsenal remaining 3 teams have leaked goals at an average of 1.8 goals per game. Arsenal also has failed to register a clean sheet since Gameweek 9. So with Pep’ attacking style of football and availability of other creative players will only boost scoring potential of Kelechi.
I strongly feel he is a CASH pickup in FPL right now.
