Due to the busy festive period, it has been the best part of two weeks since our last podcast! Far too long I am sure you’ll agree but with so little time between games it proved impossible to record earlier. However, the waiting is over as our Dave O’Grady returns to talk all over all the talking points ahead of GW21. Joining him on tonight’s show:

Ken Rooney is a journalist who writes a weekly fantasy football column for the national Irish newspaper IrishExaminer.com, called “The week in Fantasy Premier League”, featuring a round-up of all the FPL issues across social media each week, as well as some tips for the gameweek ahead. He’s been playing FPL for 10 seasons including two top-5k finishes.

Richard Kenny is a Supply Chain Planner and spreadsheet geek who’s always looking to use stats to improve his rank. He’s played FPL for 7 seasons and in last 5 seasons he has consistently finished in top 5% worldwide. His highest rank was 5,934 in season 2014/15.

Siddharth Mohindroo, more commonly known as Fantasypest, is a show regular. Sid is an FPL Fanatic who finished in the top 1K worldwide in 14/15 and top 7K in 2015/16.

The show was produced for Fanfeud by Chorley Rocks of Fanfootfirst!

Some of the topics discussed on this week’s show:

Do it now, wait until the end of the transfer window… or wait for the Double Gameweeks?

Coming up, Liverpool have a League Cup Semifinal, Man United away, and a cup replay at Plymouth. With injuries, fitness concerns and rotation risks is it feasible to avoid Liverpool players in the short term?

Double up on Chelsea defenders? Should Ake’s return be of concern to Alonso owners?

And much, much more!! Remember to submit your #FPLELITE50 GW21 lineup on Fanfeud.co.uk before anytime before 12.30pm on Saturday and you could win an FPL Shirt!!
